Some local schools and airports were on high alert Tuesday after reported bomb threats.
According to police, agencies across the state received an email from Homeland Security warning of a threat. The Gooding School District posted on their Facebook page notifying parents of the incident. In the post, the district says they received notice of a bomb threat to all schools and airports in the Gem State.
Police in that school district performed campus sweeps to ensure students safety. There is no word this morning on where the threat originated or if it has been verified.
