Malheur County Sheriff’s Office and Oregon State Police responded to the area to help.

The victim has only been identified as a 38-year-old Ontario man. He is currently listed in stable condition, according to Malheur County Sheriff Brian Wolfe.

Search warrants have been requested in allow investigators to search the property. "We still have a lot of work to do on this," Wolfe said.

"We believe some of the same people may be involved (in the stabbing investigation), but we are trying to determine if the two incidents are related," Wolfe said..
