BOISE — A Boise man and woman have been booked into the Ada County Jail after police say they forced their way into a home and attacked the resident.

Around 1:15 Sunday afternoon, Boise Police officers responded to the 3000 block of West Glendale Street for a report of a battery. “Officers learned a man and a woman forced their way into a home and beat up a female victim. Preliminary information suggests the attack stemmed from an ongoing dispute between two parties,” said BPD spokesperson Haley Williams.

The suspects were gone when police arrived at the scene. The victim’s cell phone and wallet were stolen during the fight, Williams stated.

The victim was treated on scene by Ada County paramedics. The extent of the victim’s injuries was not disclosed.

Officers later arrested Charles Barkell, 42, and Brandy Vialpando, also 42. Both are from Boise. Barkell is charged with felony robbery; Viapando is charged with felonies of robbery and aggravated battery.
