Police arrest credit union robbery suspect

Police have arrested Eric Weigle, 45, of Mountain Home in connection with a credit union robbery that took place October 5th on Orchard Street in Boise. 

Boise Police said they received numerous tips from the public -- and Ada County dispatch fielded several calls with information -- that helped police identify the Weigle.

During the robbery, the suspect reportedly indicated he had a weapon, but did not show one, police said The suspect left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

After an investigation, a warrant was issued for Weigle’s arrest.

About noon on Thursday, Boise Police Neighborhood Contact Officers along with members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force, the Ada County ACTION Team and Mountain Home Police Department arrested Weigle at a home on the 700 block of West 8th St. South in Mountain Home.

Weigle was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Elmore County Jail. He now faces a felony robbery charge.
