The Valley County Sheriff's Office has arrested 29-year-old Daniel James (DJ) Bixler on multiple charges of sexual misconduct with a minor.

The sheriff's office says they are aware of two alleged victims at this time, both under the age of 18.

Authorities believe there may be more victims, and they have asked anyone with possible information to come forward.

The sheriff's office says it all started back on November 2, when deputies were called to a reported domestic disturbance at the Arrowhead RV Park.

When they arrived, deputies say they found Bixler with a stab wound, and a 17-year-old girl -- who told them of an alleged sex offense that happened before they arrived.

Bixler was treated at the hospital for his injury, where police say he cooperated and was admitted overnight for observation.

Two weeks later, after further investigation, sheriff's office detectives arrested Bixler for Sexual Battery of a Child 16/17 years old, a felony.

Authorities later learned of another report of alleged misconduct by Bixler, this time with a 13-year-old girl. After police met with the girl's parents, Bixler was also charged with one count of misdemeanor sexual battery and one count of misdemeanor battery.

Police are withholding the juveniles' names and hometowns.

The Valley County Sheriff's Office asks that you contact them if you believe you have a crime to report or have any additional information about the case.

You can reach Capt. Jason Speer at (208) 382-7150.
