The Ada County Highway District is holding a community open house Monday evening to see what the public thinks about -– and review the progress made on the design for -- a project to widen Eagle Road between Victory and Amity Roads.
The open house will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday in the lower level Bannock Room at the St. Luke's Meridian Medical Center, 520 S. Eagle Road.
“The Eagle Road Project includes widening Eagle Road between Amity and Victory to two lanes in each direction, with a center turn lane, as well as a multi-use pathway for cyclists and pedestrians. The purpose of the project is to improve traffic flow and increase safety for those that walk, bike and drive,” according to an Ada County Highway District Facebook posting.
Materials from the open house and a short survey will be available online by close of business on Tuesday, August 28. Written comments may be sent to the Ada County Highway District at 3775 Adams St., Garden City, ID 83714 or to projects@achdidaho.org by September 10th of this year.
