A viewer saying she's a student sent 6 On Your Side a photo that appears to show someone kneeling during the National Anthem at Mountain View High School during a pep rally Friday afternoon for homecoming weekend.
A spokesman for the West Ada School District tells 6 On Your Side the person taking a knee in the photo is a teacher and they just learned about it late Friday afternoon. The district says they are investigating the incident and what the teacher's intent was.
