BOISE, Idaho — Phase three of the State Street and Collister Drive project is about to begin.
Drivers can expect a new traffic pattern down State Street at North Collister Drive. Crews will be focusing on the north side of the street starting Tuesday night, so traffic will be moved to the south side.
Officials tell us, in the end, drivers and pedestrians will like what they see.
"We're also widening State Street, so this will add a curb, gutter, bike lanes, sidewalk. We're also improving pedestrian facilities, so that's including that new crosswalk we're adding at Wylie Lane," said Natalie Shave, the pubic information specialist at ACHD.
Crews will begin setting up lane restrictions at 8 Tuesday night. The new traffic pattern will be in place by Wednesday morning and the entire project should be done by this fall.
