Dozens of nonprofits and service providers were all at one location Wednesday.

It was part of the Treasure Valley Community Resource Center's' Information Fair. They had everything from educational resources, employment and volunteer opportunities, as well as all kinds of health screenings.

One of the most popular booths was a station outside of the O'Connor Field House where pets could get check-ups for free. One of the veterinarians said about 20 people were lined up first thing in the morning. They even provided care for several service animals.

"It actually ended up turning out really well. We didn't have animals running off or trying to jump off the table or anything. And, the clients were, for the most part, thrilled that we were here," said Dan McConnel, a DVM at the Caldwell Veterinary Hospital. "Almost everyone we saw today were people that really didn't have the money to bring their pets in for shots."

The Information Fair is in its 17th year in Caldwell, and organizers said it keeps getting bigger and better. In all, there were 120 booths set up.
