CALDWELL, Idaho — A man has been arrested after a Caldwell stabbing earlier this week.
Caldwell Police say an adult woman was stabbed near the 300 block of Elgin street around 7:00 Monday night. She was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police say a person of interest, identified as Jose Banda, was arrested by the Canyon County Sheriff's Office the next day on an active arrest warrant for attempted strangulation. An interview with Banda indicated he knew the victim.
After further investigation, Banda was charged with aggravated battery and a persistent violated enhancement.
