An individual that was hit by a vehicle in a gas station parking lot in Nampa has died.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:51 a.m. in a Chevron gas station parking lot on 5950 East Franklin Road.
Officers arrived on scene and discovered that a 2011 Dodge Durango had hit Jose Campos-Sanchez, 37, of Boise in the parking lot.
The driver has been identified as a 27-year-old Nampa woman.
Campos-Sanchez was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
Nampa PD is still investigating the circumstances of the incident.
There is a possibility that the sun could have caused a vision obstruction for the driver. Nampa PD do not believe drugs or alcohol was a factor.
No charges have been filed at this time.
