BOISE, Idaho — Idaho Gives 2020 ended at midnight with record breaking results. The online event raised over $3.96 million, nearly double the total from 2019. More than $12 million has been raised for local nonprofits since Idaho Gives began in 2013.

18,077 donors gave to Idaho Gives in 2020 compared to 12,336 donors from 2019. All 634 registered organizations raised money. This year, the Idaho Foodbank raised the most out of any organization in the history of Idaho Gives.

“I am just overwhelmed with gratitude and awe at how well the campaign has done this year. Idaho, you amaze me. Thank you for giving back to our nonprofits,” says Amy Little, President and CEO of the Idaho Nonprofit Center.

During the event, Idaho Gives awarded $38,850 in prize money to many nonprofits. The prizes were awarded throughout the campaign and more will be awarded in the next few days.

All prizes are from the Idaho Gives Award Pool. The Award Pool is funded by George and Bev Harad, A.J. and Susie Balukoff, the Micron Foundation, Idaho Power, Zelham, HD Insurance, WAFD Insurance Group, Sue Fillman, John Rushe, Doug Colewell, Leadership Boise Class of 2020 and Idaho Community Foundation.
