It may still be summer, but back-to-school time is just around the corner.
For some parents, that means a financial strain, so the Boise Rescue Mission is helping out.
They are giving kids in need new backpacks and school supplies.
Volunteers say it helps kids start the school year feeling good about themselves.
The mission says just $21 will provide a children with a backpack and the supplies necessary to do well in school.
