One person is dead after swimming at Anderson Ranch Reservoir.
Elmore County Sheriff's officials say dispatch got a call Friday evening for a person who was in distress in the water near the Evans Creek Campground.
Officials say they began searching for the person with the help of bystanders. Emergency crews from the air, ground and water weren't able to find him.
Witnesses told police the person was swimming from shore line to shore line at Evans Creek Inlet when they went missing. The next morning, a dive team continued the search in the inlet, where they found the individual's body.
The person's name will not be released out of respect to the family.
