One man is dead following a Tuesday morning collision between a truck and a commercial delivery van north of Eagle.
According to an Ada County dispatch supervisor, the accident happened shortly after 11 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 55 and Hill Road.
The van rear-ended a larger truck that was stopped at the intersection of Hill Road and Highway 55.
The van’s driver was killed. His name has not yet been released.
Highway 55 is closed in both directions between State Street and Beacon Light Road, while authorities investigate the scene.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
