Newly released footage from Ryan Bundy’s cell phone was posted by the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office on April 5th, 2016 showing the moments before Lavoy Finicum was shot and killed.
The footage, which was uploaded to Youtube upside down, shows the inside of Lavoy Finicum’s truck when the group was initially stopped by Oregon State Police on January 26th.
During the video, you can hear Finicum yelling at police who have weapons fixed with laser sights at the cell phone and truck.
“Go ahead and shoot me! I am not turning off the vehicle. I got Ryan Bundy in here, this is Lavoy Finicum! I am going to go meet the people in Grant County,” a voice yells. “If you want to shoot me. You shoot me!”
The second video published to Youtube is presumably after Lavoy was shot and killed and you can hear a voice from Ryan Bundy describing what had happened.
“Okay. Their…their shooting at us. They got lasers still on us. Lavoy got out. I think they killed Lavoy,” you can hear Bundy saying.
The two cell phone videos have a gap in the recording. However, you can see the events that occurred in between from cell phone footage shot from Shawna Cox who was also inside of the vehicle during the incident.
Ryan Bundy along with other co-defendants was subsequently arrested following the shooting. Bundy is facing extradition to Nevada for an arraignment.
