A new YMCA will open it's doors to the public this weekend and already there are 2,500 people that have signed up for a membership highlighting how important this new 22.5-acre complex will be for the community.
The YMCA will open without having any debt, thanks to the support of the community and a collaborative effort that is the first of its kind in the country that includes five different partnerships.
St. Lukes, the YMCA, Meridian Libraries, Parks and Rec and the West Ada School District all came together to make it all happen, but that also means there will be exciting opportunities at the YMCA that span across these five organizations.
On Friday the YMCA celebrated the grand opening and held an open house to allow people to see this new facility that really does have something for everything, for the coverage of this event, watch the video.
