For the past eight years, the non-profit organization has operated a free college advising drop-in center in the basement of the downtown Boise YMCA.

Next spring, STEP AHEAD IDAHO will move to its new home at the Boise Library's Hillcrest location.

"Being able to have this location means students will know where to find us everyday, and be able to access resources, laptops, and just have a fully functional facility," said Sue Lovelace, partner at STEP AHEAD IDAHO.

The organization's new home will include 2,200-square-feet of remodeled space, an open seating area, small meeting room, large classroom/presentation room, and a basic kitchen.

Students and staff will also have access to the library's computers and resources.
