Strap on your helmet, grab your bike and head to hills. Summer time fun at Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is here with some new actives.

A new bike skills park allows you to test your ride before you hit the trails, but you don't need to ride your bike to enjoy all the new features Bogus Basin has to offer. "We have a group of ten people and quite an age range and everyone has found something they really enjoy," said one visitor.

More attractions are on the way, the Mountain Coaster which will let adventures travel over 3,000 feet with twist and turns won't open until next month. Along with an expanded by deck and lawn area, officials hope bogus basin continue to thrive.

"It really provides us with a stable revenue stream that can get us through some of those unpredictable winters that we know are coming and we can be prepared for it," said Wilson.
