A Netflix nationwide promotion changed the name of Boise's Flying M Coffee House to "Luke's Diner" Wednesday. The promotion is meant to drum up publicity for Netflix's release of the series "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life." on the streaming service.
The Flying M is one of over 200 cafes and coffee shops changing to a "Luke's Diner" the iconic coffee shop from the hit series, for a few hours. Netflix is picking up the tab for the staff, branding and baristas in every state across the U.S.
Luke's Diner was the setting for many scenes in the iconic town of Stars Hollow, and idyllic small town in the poplar series.
