The Nampa Police Department have released more details about an arrest in the 200 block of 1st. St. North in Nampa.
On March 30th, 2016 at approximately 6:24 p.m., Nampa Police observed David O. Sales, 28, of Nampa enter a residence. Sales was wanted by police on a $50,000 felony warrant stemming from a probation violation.
Due to the violent history of Sales, who's warrant was for aggravated battery and use of a deadly weapon, police called out the Nampa Police Department Tactical Response Team (TRT).
While the TRT was mobilizing in front of the residence, Sales allegedly exited through a back door and climbed into a SUV parked in back.
Officers found Sales in the backseat of the vehicle and arrested him without incident.
Sales had several firearms on his person at the time of the arrest.
The driver of the SUV was identified as Katie M. Smith, 33, of Nampa.
She was arrested for possession of meth, possession of marijuana and driving a vehicle was suspended privileges.
Both were booked into Canyon County Jail.
