A Nampa was taken to a Boise hospital after he was involved in an early-morning accident on Interstate 84.
At about 7:20 a.m., Idaho State Police troopers were dispatched to an injury crash in the eastbound lanes of I-84, just east of the Flying Wye.
Neal Farnworth, 54, of Nampa, was driving eastbound on a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle. Mary Romano, 19, of Nampa, was also eastbound in a 2016 Ford pickup, according to an Idaho State Police news release.
“Romano was merging (into another lane) when she struck Farnworth. Farnworth and his motorcycle were separated and blocked several lanes of the Interstate,” the release said.
Farnworth was not wearing a helmet and was transported to St Alphonsus in Boise.
His condition was not immediately rekeased.
The lanes of travel were blocked for about ninety minutes.
Idaho State Police is still investigating the accident.
