Thursday the Nampa Public Library teamed up with the Alzheimer's Association to host an information workshop.
November is Alzheimer Awareness month.
The workshop highlighted topics such as early detection and treatment plans.
Bryan Elliott with the Alzheimer Association shares the early warning signs.
"For somebody with Alzheimer's if they cant remember it in the present they aren't going to remember it in the future," Elliott said "When it begins to impact your daily life such as forgetting how to get to a grocery store that they have been going to for thirty years that's when its a problem."
Alzheimer's is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States.
