Idaho State Police are investigating an injury crash that happened just after 11 p.m. Thursday night.

7 people are in the hospital after the multi-vehicle crash in Canyon County. Idaho State Police report the accident happened on Highway 55 at Riverside Road. 

Christopher Donnelly of Nampa driving a Chevrolet pick up was attempting to make a right hand turn onto Highway 55 off of Riverside Road when he struck James Byerly of Boise who was hauling a boat trailer behind his Chevrolet Avalanche. The boat became dislodged and hit a third vehicle, Heather Redburn of Wilder's Trailblazer.

Two women riding in the bed of Donnelly's truck were ejected from the vehicle. In all 7 people were sent to local hospitals.

There is no word on their conditions at this time. Idaho State Police are still investigating the accident.
