Mountain Home man killed in rollover crash, female driver hospitalized

MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho — Idaho State Police are investigating a fatal crash that leaves a 46-year-old Mountain Home man dead.

Police responded to the area just north of the intersection of NW Mashburn Road and Canyon Creek Road near Mountain Home at approximately 3:55 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Officials say Chantine M. Anderson-Flock, 39, of Mountain Home, was driving a 2001 Dodge Durango with Lloyd D. Hughes, 46, of Mountain Home, as her passenger. Anderson-Flock was traveling southbound on Canyon Creek Road when she over-corrected, hit a rock, and rolled.

Anderson-Flock was transported by ground ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

Hughes was ejected from the vehicle and succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Next of kin has been notified.

Hughes was not wearing a seatbelt.

This remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
