Police say a motorcyclist is dead after a wreck this morning on Highway 55 north of Banks.
Authorities say 55-year-old William Balding of Boise veered off the roadway around 9:50 a.m. and struck a guardrail.
Police say balding, who was not wearing a helmet, died at the scene.
An investigation is underway.
