Motorcycle support group raises funds

Drivers on two wheels are at risk this time of year.

In the Treasure Valley alone, 23 accidents have involved motorcycles and five riders did not make it home in 2016 thus far.

There is a group called the Fallen Riders Fund of Idaho. They provide financial and emotional support in times of need.

The group members are raising funds to keep them going strong through the summer months.

"Riders and drivers need to be more cautious and pay attention to what's going on out there. Drivers I see all the time still texting and talking," says Andrew Hill, Boise Gun Company. "If you can't hear us and see us, that's a risk not only to us but the driver as well."

You can check out the prize package worth $5,000 at the Boise Gun Company in Garden City on Saturday, May 14.

The group members will also have a booth set up where you can buy the raffle tickets.
