An independent broadcaster indicted in connection with the occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge may no longer be charged.
Prosecutors filed the motion last week to dismiss the charge against 50-year-old Pete Santilli who live streamed the 41-day occupation.
Santilli insists he covered the protest as a journalist and even stayed at a hotel rather than the refuge.
Santilli said he holds no ill will against prosecutors and that he knew he would be found not guilty.
Seven other are currently on trial for their involvement in the armed takeover.
