Missing Meridian man's body recovered from Boise River

The body of a missing Meridian man has been recovered.

The Canyon County Sheriff’s Office recovered the body of Mark Rose, 55, on Sunday.  The body was found approximately 200 yards from where his pickup was discovered along the Boise River.

Rose had been missing since April 24 of this year.  “His body was discovered by friends of the Rose family who had been searching the area where he went missing,” said Meridian Police Deputy Chief Tracy Basterrechea. 

Rose’s body was recovered by the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office with the help of the Middleton Fire Department.

No cause of death has been determined.
