VALLEY COUNTY — Two hikers from Boise who were reported missing in Valley County Sunday have been found on the Cougar Creek Trail near the trail head.

The trail head is located close to Reed Ranch, on the south fork of the Salmon River. The hikers are in good condition and no injuries have been reported, according to Sheriff Patti Bolen. Search and Rescue crews are picking them up today and taking them back to McCall. Their names have not yet been released.

The hikers, both of whom are described by authorities as “experienced outdoorsmen,” went missing east of Donnelly. Valley County Search and Rescue crews found the hikers' vehicle at the Kennally Creek Campground.

Officials believe the pair had left the Campground and were headed to Blackmare Lake on Friday.
