Meridian Police are warning people to look for card skimmers at ATMs in the area. Customers of the Pioneer Federal Credit Union on Fairview may have had their cards skimmed at the drive-thru ATM. Skimming involves a machine disguised to look like part of the ATM that collects information for criminals to steal money from accounts.
Police say customers who used the ATM at 850 E. Fairview Ave December 10th between 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. may have been affected.
Already customers have reported fraudulent charges on their cards from Nevada, Arizona and California. Pioneer Federal's security cameras did pick up photos of two men believed to be involved.
Earlier this week a similar device was found at an unnamed Nampa bank.
