Meridian Police looking for armed robber

Meridian Police are looking for the person who robbed a fast food restaurant.

At about 12:15 a.m Tuesday Meridian Police officers were dispatched to a report of an armed robbery at the Sonic Drive-In located in the 4000 block of N. Linder. 

Investigators tell 6 On Your Side the suspect entered the restaurant while a single worker was closing, flashed a knife and demanded money.  The worker gave the thief the cash that then fled south towards McMillian Road.

The suspect is described as in his early to mid-twenties; about 5’08” tall with a slender build.  He was wearing a white hoodie under a black jacket with white stripes, a red bandana over his face and wearing baggy camo pants with black and white shoes.  The worker also told police he had bright blue eyes and was carrying a black backpack.
