Meridian Police officers have arrested Christian Carpenter, 21, of Boise on two no-bond warrants for failure to appear in court. Officers believe Carpenter is the prowler caught on a Meridian resident’s surveillance video.
Carpenter was taken into custody in the 1000 block of S. Progress St. in Meridian Saturday about 7 p.m.
Officers were investigating Carpenter as a possible suspect in the prowler incidents -- and received further information after several tips identified him from media reports.
Meridian Police expect further charges to be filed against him, “which may include misdemeanor trespassing, felony grand theft and fraudulent use of a financial transaction card,” according to Meridian Police Deputy Chief Tracy Basterrechea.
