Meridian Police have arrested Joseph Graham, 29, of Boise, for the robbery of a 25-year-old woman, who was held up at gunpoint October 13th while eating lunch in the parking lot of an Idaho Central Credit Union.

Investigators identified two suspects through video and information from a Rosauers employee. “The employee saw the suspects earlier and thought they were suspicious, so the employee took down a license number,” said Meridian Police Deputy Chief Tracy Basterrechea. “Believing the vehicle may have been related to the robbery, the employee contacted (us) with the license plate information.”

Police were then able to tie the vehicle to Graham, Basterrechea added.

Police arrested Graham around 9:45 a.m. at the Boise Bus Depot.  Graham ran from officers, Basterrechea said, but was quickly apprehended.

Officers have not yet recovered the gun used in the robbery.

Police are waiting to release the name of the second suspect, who is currently in the Canyon County Jail on unrelated charges, until they receive a warrant for his arrest.
