Meadow Gold in Boise issues recall

Meadow Gold in Boise has recalled some of its products over concerns they could have Salmonella or E. coli among other pathogens.

The products are its Old Style Whipping Cream and Meadow Gold DairyPure brand Whipping Gream and Half and Half because of insufficient pasteurization.  In addition to Salmonella and E. coli, Campylobacter and Listeria may also be present.

There have been no reports of illness at this time.

The recall involves around 10,000 units that were shipped to places in Idaho, Wyoming, Oregon and Utah.  If you have one of the effected products in your home pour it out and return the package to the place you bought it for a refund or exchange.
