Man seriously injured in downtown Boise vehicle vs. e-scooter crash

BOISE, Idaho — About 1:20 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, Boise Police officers responded to a crash involving a vehicle and an e-scooter at 8th and Myrtle Streets in downtown Boise. “The male adult on the e-scooter was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries,” according to a Boise Police news release.

A preliminary investigation shows that a driver traveling east on Myrtle collided with a scooter rider who traveling south on 8th Street and then with a second vehicle that was traveling north on 8th Street, the release said.

No other injuries were reported.

An investigation is underway, and no charges or citations have been issued yet.
