A Nampa man died after an ATV crash on Ustick road in Nampa Thursday morning.
On August 9, 2018, at 9:48 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated an injury crash eastbound on Ustick Road between Northside Boulevard and Midland Boulevard, in Nampa.
John Kinghorn, 87, of Nampa, was driving an ATV east on Ustick Road and Dakota Bosworth, 31, of Caldwell, was driving east on Ustick Road in a Ram pickup.
According to Idaho State Police, Kinghorn turned his ATV into the roadway and struck the pickup as Bosworth was attempting to pass. Kinghorn was transported by ground ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise and later died from his injuries.
Kinghorn was not wearing a helmet. Bosworth was wearing a seatbelt.
The roadway was blocked for approximately two hours while the crash was being investigated.
