A Gooding man is facing charges for vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence of alcohol after a single-vehicle accident on Highway 75.

The crash happened around 10:00 p.m. Saturday night at milepost 75 near Shoshone.

Idaho State Police say Ryan Foulke, 38, of Gooding, was driving southbound on State Highway 75 in a 1996 Suzuki Sidekick when the vehicle went off the right shoulder. Foulke overcorrected and the vehicle rolled and came to rest in the middle of the roadway, blocking both the northbound and southbound lanes.

Foulke had two passengers in his vehicle, Elizabeth Kulhanek, 46, and Travis Kulhanek, 44, both of Shoshone.

Elizabeth was transported to North Canyon Medical Center in Gooding while Travis succumbed to his injuries on scene, and Foulke was taken into custody and is being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and vehicular manslaughter.

Travis Kulhanek was the only occupant not wearing a seatbelt.

Both lanes of State Highway 75 were blocked for approximately 3 hours. This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
