BOISE, IDAHO — The Treasure Valley is a hotbed for outdoor physical activity and fitness. With that comes a demand for quick, healthy things to fuel our bodies, and one family-owned business has figured out exactly how to fill that need.

If you're looking to gulp down literal pounds of fresh, organic fruits and vegetables in one sitting, but you'd rather drink them than chew, then Boise Juice Company has just what you're looking for.

"We don't add anything to the bottles of juice, there's no like water added, no sugar added, it's just fresh veggies, fresh fruit that's been run through the press and put into a bottle within 30 minutes press-to-bottle, it's sealed really tight so that all those enzyme nutrients are intact for you," said Boise Juice Company owners Jessica and Roland Heubach.

Selling their famous juices, smoothies, and acai bowls, Boise Juice Company was opened on State Street in Boise in August of 2016 out of, what they would consider, necessity.

"There just wasn't a place in Boise, like no store front, that offered unpasteurized, organic cold-pressed juice. And we really felt a need for it. I was in love with it. Every time we would travel, I would go and find the closest place, and we just wanted Boise to have that option, we wanted Treasure Valley to be able to access it," said the Heubachs.

Since opening three and a half years ago, they've expanded to open two other stores with their fourth store in the works, and have a total of around 50 employees. Three of those workers happen to be their kids.

"Most parents don't get to spend all day with their adult kids. It's amazing. We do. It's awesome. It's most parents dream, they want to be around their kids all day. Especially as they're adults so this has given us that opportunity we wouldn't have if it wasn't for Boise Juice Company," said the Heubachs.

And we're sure the kids feel the same way.

"Ummmmm...she's still smiling so that's good!" said the Heubachs.

They both know that the reason they've been able to expand and grow so rapidly is because of the amazing community.

"You see these bigger stores come in and as much as we love to see the growth, we love to see these local Idaho companies succeed and grow. I think that's a big part of it. We have customers that have been with us since day one that have been with us the whole time. Yes we're unique and there's not a lot of options out there, but just seeing that healthy lifestyle in Boise grow as much as it has when we opened and how much they support us has been pretty awesome," said the Heubachs.

And this Made in Idaho company is proud to have Boise in their name.

"We knew that it had to be, Boise had to be in the center of what we did. We knew we had to serve this community, and Boise Juice Company was the best way to represent what we wanted to do," said the Heubachs.
