A special nonprofit in a unique vehicle is driving around the streets of Boise with a mission of helping victims of sexual assault and abuse.
Speak Your Voice is a nonprofit providing counseling for anyone personally affected by sexual abuse or assault. Their new "bus" will drive to anyone in need. The main focus is to remove the stigmas that survivors can face after experiencing sexual abuse and then give those survivors a platform to share.
"There's so much fear and shame and guilt from it so we're taking a light approach and focusing on the future and the innate value that every person has no matter what they go through and can never change," said Speak Your Silence founder Matt Pipkin.
