Motorcyclist dies in three-vehicle crash in South Boise

SOUTH BOISE, Idaho — The Ada County Sheriff's office says a 49-year-old man is dead following a three-vehicle crash that shut down part of South Pleasant Valley Road and West Hollilynn Drive in South Boise on Monday morning.

Investigators say a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling southbound collided with the back of a dump truck while turning into a local materials yard.

The motorcyclist landed in the oncoming northbound traffic lane, where he collided with a cement truck traveling in the northbound lane.

The motorcyclist died at the scene. His identity has yet to be released by the Ada County Coroner’s Office.

The driver of the dump truck and the driver of the cement truck did not sustain any injuries. The collision is now being investigated by the Ada County Sheriff’s Office Collision Reconstruction Team.
