OWYHEE COUNTY, Idaho — Voters in Owyhee and Elmore Counties have opted to keep Bruneau Elementary School open in the 2025-2026 school year.

The school board voted in July to close Bruneau Elementary at the end of the 2024–25 school year unless voters decided otherwise. Ultimately, 56 percent of voters decided to keep the school open.
