MERIDIAN, Idaho — The Meridian Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a suspect accused of pointing a gun at a young female near the 3700 block of N. Centrepoint Way during the early morning hours of Jan. 21, 2026.
A news release states that officers responded to the area on the day in question after receiving a report of a male suspect burglarizing vehicles. Police say that the male suspect at one point approached a young female and pointed a handgun at her.
The victim says she believes the suspect is a juvenile. The suspect was wearing a mask, a black North Face down vest, and black pants.
Law enforcement claims the suspect was riding a scooter at the time, which they later found abandoned in the area.
