HARPER, Oregon — The Malheur County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help after receiving a report that a green laser pointer was aimed at a small commercial aircraft flying over Harper, Oregon, on Wednesday morning.
Law enforcement urges anyone who witnessed suspicious activity or has any information related to this incident to call the Malheur County Sheriff's Office at 541-473-5125.
Pointing a laser at an aircraft is a serious federal crime, punishable by up to five years in prison.
