MALHEUR COUNTY, Oregon — The Malheur County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding those responsible for the deaths of five Chiweenie dogs that were shot and left at Malheur Butte.
Only one puppy, who is estimated to be between 8-9 weeks old, survived the ordeal. That puppy is currently in the care of Canines and Special Pet Rehoming (CASPR).
