ONTARIO, Oregon — A fire near an Ontario underpass, sparked by drip tape, damaged sheds, a power line, and a billboard.

According to a Facebook post from Ontario Fire & Rescue (OFR), crews responded to a reported vegetation fire near the underpass on March 28 at around 11 p.m.

The fire occurred in a lot near W. Idaho Ave and South Oregon Street.

The fire broke out after a large pile of drip tape ignited, causing damage to multiple storage sheds and a billboard.

OFR requested assistance from Fruitland Fire and Payette Fire. Additionally, Ontario Police and Treasure Valley Paramedics aided in the matter.

No injuries were reported as a result of this incident and OFR says this fire is still under investigation.
