GRANDJEAN, Idaho — A mudslide has forced Idaho Transportation Department officials to close part of State Highway 21 in both directions. The closure stretches from Grandjean Road to Banner Summit.
Crews arrived on scene and closed the highway starting at 6 p.m. on Thursday.

All lanes are closed, and drivers are asked to take a different route to avoid the closure.
