Idaho News 6 hires new general sales manager

NAMPA, Idaho — Idaho News 6 announces the hiring of general sales manager, Matt Hamilton. He will oversee the sales staff at KIVI in Nampa and KSAW in Twin Falls, both owned by The E.W. Scripps Company (NASDAQ: SSP).

Hamilton comes to the ABC affiliates from iHeartMedia in Portland, Ore. He has over two decades of experience as a sales management professional.

Hamilton is returning to Boise. He previously served as the local sales manager for the E.W. Scripps Radio Group in Idaho.

His leadership skills are outstanding and his experience in television, radio, print and digital will be an invaluable asset to the organization,” said Ken Ritchie, vice president and general manager of KIVI and KSAW. “Best of all, he is a wonderful human being and a perfect fit with our culture.”

KIVI and KSAW cover local news in the Treasure and Magic Valleys. The ABC affiliates broadcast “Good Morning Idaho” at 5:00 and 6:00 a.m. and “Idaho News 6” at 5:00, 5:30, 6:00 and 10:00 p.m. on weeknights and 5:30 and 10:00 p.m. on the weekends.
