We're now entering the most dangerous time of the year for drivers.

Though driving conditions and temperatures during this time of year are typically good, the 100 days between Memorial Day and Labor Day account for nearly 40 percent of deadly crashes every year.

Law enforcement agencies around the Treasure Valley will team up to target drunk, aggressive and distracted drivers. Idaho State Police says you should take your time and enjoy the ride, especially near construction zones.

"I know we write a lot of seatbelt tickets, is one thing, but on top of that I always personally--when I talk to people--try to educate them on the importance of wearing their seatbelt," said Christian Briggs, an Idaho State Police Trooper.
