The generosity of our community was on full display on Monday as Les Schwab Tire Centers employees were at The Idaho Foodbank dropping off 600 turkeys donated by the public for their turkey drive.
The drive comes at a perfect time for the Foodbank as well as for Les Schwab, when there's more traffic at their stores because of drivers wanting to be prepared for winter weather.
"Its really busy, but it also brings people into our store that also get a chance to give back to the community," said Dave Black, a manager with Les Schwab Tire Centers.
The annual turkey drive has been going on since early November, but if you want to help make the campaign successful, you can still drop off turkeys through December 22.
